The first reason for avoiding Thomas was eccentric nature. He had a bad habit of saying the same story multiple times. The stories appear to be nonsense sometimes. Even if the people around him are not listening to the talk, Thomas had the habit of talking. His nature was very unfriendly and people often get bored with them. He was not a bad person at all but he had some nature which was highly disliked by others. He puts emphasis on the unnecessary things much and it is not taken actively by others.
